For years now, Kapil Sharma and his famous show Comedy Nights With Kapil have become synonymous with entertainment in the Indian household. Aired on weekends- first bi-weekly and then weekly, CNWK was possibly a huge dose of masala and celebrity gupshup presented in a very different fashion.
Kapil headed the show and kept everyone entertained with his trademark comic antics. While Guththi's acts made us break into laughs, Dadi and Bua's fights which packed a lot of lunch. Also a mad and eccentric Palak was like a cherry on the cake. But that is a thing of the past now. The show is finally drawing the curtains as they air their last episode this Sunday.
Featuring Akshay Kumar, this week's episode will bring in a closure on the show and nothing more is yet known about its further development. Talking about the show coming to an end, here are some Bollywood celebrities who reacted to the same.
Shah Rukh Khan:

apil is a really talented guy and possibly one of the best stand-up comics we have in the industry. Other than this, he did a film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon which worked really well. I hope he does something soon again to keep us entertained.

It's very sad. CNWK has become a routine on weekends in families. Even my family watches it regularly. Of course, it's little sad that it's ending. But I hope Kapil keeps netertaining us and it comes back soon.
• Athiya Shetty:

I didn't go to Comedy Nigths with Kapil. I went to Comedy Nights Bachao. I didn't know it's going off air. I love the show and it's one of my favourite shows. I laugh so much and it's like therapy.

It's going off air? Rubbish! Really? Our promotions will become a little dull without Kapil being in our lives. We always look forwrad to going on his show during promotions and having a good laugh. But his picture did very well so I am sure he will do more films!
• Farhan Akhtar:

I think Kapil has plans for himself. So I wish him all the best. I hope he achieves everything he plans for himself. He is a really sweet boy.
• Shraddha Kapoor:

I have been quite disconnected. So I didn't know it's going off air. That's really a sad news.
• Sidharth Malhotra:

I also heard that he will return again. So it will hopefully be just a short break. It's an amazing show where he entertains everyone. After all, comedy is a very difficult space and I am looking forward to his comeback.
