In one such violent fight, 108 prisoners died. Here, one guard is appointed to keep check on 150 prisoners.

This prison is also known for its inhuman torture on criminals. Here, police and prisoners get into fight with each other often. In 1996, a very violent fight happened between police and prisoners in which 10 prisoners died and 23 policemen got seriously injured. This is the reason why many prisoners dread to live inside this jail. It is among “ten most notorious jails in the world.”

5. La Sante Prison, Paris, France

It is also considered as one of the most notorious jails in the world. The cruelty of this prison can be judged over the number of suicides of prisoners that has happened in the prison. In 1994, 124 prisoners committed suicide here. The torturous activities are so high in the jail that prisoners are kept outside for many hours.

6. ADX Florence Supermax Facility, Colorado, America

This prison was made for the most notorious criminals where they were kept alone. In 2012, criminals of this prison filed a case against this prison after which it was revealed that prisoners were treated in a very torturous way inside the prison.
